Hi all Aside from Winamp (which has ASIO out from what I've read) are there any other video players for the PC with ASIO out? If not, I'd also be interested to hear what players people round here are using.... Cheers Max

I know this is a pretty popular plugin, does anyone else have problems playing certain MP3 files with otachan.com's ASIO plugin? Several files, of which I couldn't discern a difference in anything such as sampling rate, won't play through without resampling. These are 44100 Hz files, and when I get to a file that won't play, resampling to 44100 doesn't fix it (I assume there is no resampling...

Hi there! I'm new to the forum but have been using kx driver for quite a long time. I was using Windows XP with 3538m (also 3550) on "SB0060 10k1 [1000]" with no problem. But on Win 7 32bit, the 3538m kx mixer will not launch, and ASIO driver is present but not working (kX Init error: error initializing WinMM subsystem). After upgrade to 3550, the ASIO driver listed in audio software ...

Due to the lack of audio toys to upgrade(space constraint), I suddenly chance upon the USB Asio. A 44Euro Asio. For more info, pls google it. Personal preference or imagination, I find the USB Asio to be more transparent, bass to be more defined. More details. Anyone out there try it before? U can go to USB Audio - the low latency experience to download the demo version and let everyone...

ASIO playback A2ZSNB One thing I can't seem to get working is playback using ASIO. I choose ASIO 00,01 in my app but no sound. ASIO 00.01 uses the 00,01 outs of FXBus right? I have sound out of FXBus 00,01 when using WDM. What am I doing wrong? For playback only I don't need to wire anything in the DSP do I. I built my own DSP. ...

Hi I just installed Windows 7 Home Edition (the original version). After opening the "Administrator" account, The following error message pops out "Can't open AsIO.sys !! (2)". I did not have this problem with Windows 7 RC and I dont have the problem on the "User" account. Any suggestions?

Hello to you the Audiophiles. Did you try SqueezeSlave Asio ? Did you try Andy's Minimalist Audio Player (wasapi or ASIO) ? ( http://andy-audioplayer.blogspot.com...player_23.h tml ) I tried both and a lot of others like cPlay/cMP, Foobar, Winamp, ... The best in a fully optimised Audio computer is Andy's Player sound wise, the best in terms of UI and fonctionality is Squeezeslave ...

Im looking for a PCI or PCIe interface that supports basic stereo I/O including a microphone input that also supports ASIO 2, Windows Standby S3 and has Windows 7 drivers; a MIDI interface is a bonus. Any ideas? The Asus Xonar DS 7.1 is one option (no MIDI) but Im looking for others under £75.

Hi, can anyone recommend a low latency asio sound card, at least 9ms or less without popping noises. My budget is up to $300 but i would like to pay $200 or less. I thought my onboard soundcard would be fine before i bought this computer but its not, I get popping noises very quickly when i add a couple of instruments and try to record guitar in fruity loops with guitar rig 3 on Asio4all. Its not...

I have this crappy 24bit external soundcard with optical output, it sounds so bad because of the "digital processed" sound. Even ASIO couldn't save it. I was desperate and about to get a USB DAC. just before I did this, I upgrade my OS to Windows7, and soundcard driver could not be installed because it's not compatible. Supprisingly, Windows 7 recognize it as a "USB audio device" which ...

Hi all: Upgraded to Win 7 64 bit and I cannot get as good performance either with ASIO or WDM. Any effects takes it into a tailspin. I am using the 7.2 drivers(running in Vis compatibility mode). It is unusable at 64 samples(ASIO), and at 3ms(WDM). In XP I can run at 1.5ms all day long. I have turned off any web access etc. Cannot turn off Mcaffe virus scan however. Any ...

Although I ordered an external sound I believe that I fixed the problems I had with MC5 latency and my laptop sound card. To make a long story short, I installed ASIO4ALL - Universal ASIO Driver For WDM Audio and that appeared to be the fix. Here is the link to the site. I hope this will help others. http://www.asio4all.com/...
