Folks, The article below doesn't mention the message boards, yet, but I guess we better look for new addictions if they take down the message boards also, huh? Sounds like an AOL monetary crises, and if we have a repeat of 1929, stock up on TP, Ramen noodles, and learn to work the message boards with semaphore, drums and smoke signals.... and this is what I found, but ONLY on the page for Hometown FTP and AOL Journals. NOTHING of this sort showed up on the page for Message Boards...so perhaps we are safe for a while after all. I heard that AOL is cutting many services, and one of them will be the message boards. According to this AOL insider, they will be cut out by the first of the year. At least Obama will have lost by then..

Did anyone have trouble connecting to AOL from yesterday afternoon and all evening? I couldn't get on line at all, kept getting this odd error message I've never seen.
