I built an HTPC recently with a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H mobo and a AMD X2 6000+ (Brisbane, 3.1ghz, 65nm according to CPU-Z, stock settings). The problem is that the voltage reported by CPU-Z is 1.472V under 50% load. Is it normal?

Which of these is the better cpu, mostly for gaming but want it for all round as well. I was going with the AMD as ive had AMD for years now and its been a good experience and I must say ive become a big fan but im hearing really good things about Core 2 Duo. Is anyone able to supply benchmarks and such like to show which is better. Thanks

CrossFire lets you set up 2 graphics card and use them at the same time, its similar to SLI but only for ATI cards. When you use two cards, you get a performance increase, about 30% or more. Also, no you don't need a "big" motherboard, and motherboards come in different sizes, here it is from smallest to largest, micro-ATX, ATX, and some other ATX i forget.

The voltage is not too high to damage the cpu so it most likely wouldn't hurt the cpu, but it draws more power, creates more heat not just the cpu but the mobo's mosfets as well. Changing one setting in the bios and letting it run orthos while you are not using the rig does not take that much time.
