I heard that Aldi was already clearancing their toys. I bought a Leapfrog Tag book there at the beginning of the month, so I vaguely remember their selection. I know they did have the Leapster 2, Imaginext toys, etc. I am going to head over there tomorrow morning and see what the deal is, I'll report back here what I find out. :-)

Hi, I found an article on the internet saying Omega Wolf (Powercraft) had gone into liquidation way back in July. Sorry I can't find the URL right now. Does this mean the end for cheap tools at Aldi? TIA

My girlfriend brought home the aquarium from aldi and we were well impressed for the price. If your looking to start out in fishkeeping its great. For 60euro you get everything you need execpt for the gravel and fish. At 57l it isnt big but its well worth a look!

I'm at a loss of about what to serve Christmas for dinner. I don't want anything TOO complicated. Last time I was at Aldi, they had premarinated turkey tenderloins in the fresh meat dept. I was thinking of doing that, baked potatoes, salad and ummmmm something else? Anyone have experience baking/roasting/crockpotting turkey tenderloin?

Got a beauty from Tesco and the OH dosed it up with a jar of apricot glaze from Aldi - roasted 3 hours or there abouts. Served with turkey, etc etc etc. I know what to do with every last splinter of turkey but what about ham? We'll have some sliced with peas pudding, made into sandwiches, maybe chopped and put in a salad. Any other ideas? I'm looking for main dish items not just ...

I bought a fresh 1.5 Kg British Turkey Breast from Aldi. I had an Xmas dinner at my sons on Christmas day, but today my daughter is coming and I have prepared the Turkey Breast the Carluccio way (split and filled with smoked ham, rosemary nutmeg, mustard and spinach). When I came to split it I found it still had the breastbone in. Given that it was only £11 vs an alleged £36 for a M&S ...

> This bad boy has it all. 2.4L V9 bored and stroked with 47.98lbs of boost through my Aldi brand Turdo-charger. Puts down 7HP to the Wheels! I've outran Bugatti Veyrons, Saleen S7s, and a few Koenigseggs in this thing. I don't even mess with Ferraris, Lambos, and Porches. They're a waste of my time and I have a reputation as such. They wet themselves when they see...
