Doc should be traded to a NL team...or at least out of the AL East. Why would you trade your best player to a team in your division - making them better - and making it harder for the Jays to move up in an already stacked AL East? The Red Sox, Yankees, Rays and even the Orioles should be off the trade list.

That's fine, so I am just unclear where you stand on NTC clauses then? Is negotiating them in the first place then considered ungrateful and/or unclassy? At this point everyone involved (Halladay, the Blue Jays, and the rest of the league) knows that Roy Halladay will not be a Toronto Blue Jay after next season.
