ail crashed for me a couple of days ago. Then when I reopened it, it would ask me to re-index the envelope index and then it crashes again. I've tried most of the suggestions on this forum already: removed extraneous files created by previous OS's (mbox, etc), removed IMAP accounts, moving com.apple.mail.plist file, deleting the envelope index file(s) again. I haven't tried ...
