Hope this is the right place Ok, so I've got a web site running on my home machine. The problem is, that machine is set to download files and thus I struggle to connect to the site as the downloads are hogging the bandwidth. Looking at getting one of these for my Father for xmas. However, it seems that all of them are only doing Draft N. I am going to assume that only the mega expensive ones are going to be full N? Right I could use a new ADSL router with the following features: 4 port gigabit switch Wireless N VPN Endpoint/gateway (whatever you call it) Not sure I'm going to get all 3, can compromise on the wireless and only have g if need be. Is there anything out there reasonably priced apart from a Draytek?

Just been reading about this, seems absolutely perfect for what I want, cheers! The VPN thing is a little extravagance but thought it'd be handy when away from home in that it's a secure connection whilst using things like hotel wifi. Plus can still use iPlayer and things from abroad Was just going to look for some ui examples as I really hate these things when they have naff interfaces.

Eish... that's IC for you. That R1200 price is from maybe 6 years ago. It's a shame to think there are people out there willing to let themselves get ripped off like that. However, note that there's a 54Mbit and 108MBit wireless version. Either one is fine though.
