I bulilt a 468 installed cam(mech) and the rpm on the box is 3200-6500 I run the motor and it tops out at 5000 why does this happen? I adj the low band (powerglide) i have double strings solid lift roller rocker I have the vacume capped off on carb and distr. and set the timing at 34 @2000 rpm. the whole bottom of this engine is stock I'm at a loss don't know what to do ...
