While debating, this came up a bunch. "This action must come before this other action, so therefore it is more valuable because it is a priori." I don't think there is a deffinite answer to this, but I would say that I don't think a priori means it is the most valuable. I think this because people have sacrificed their lives for things that they believe in, and nothing is a priori to life. ...

Hi, I have a problem with the following sentence. I am not sure whether I could grasp the intended meaning or not. Could you please reformulate the sentence, especially the part in bold-face in order for it to make more sense? Many thanks in advance. I am trying to decide between these two seats. Is the Priori up on a base? I prefer low seats. I have seen an Avenue in real life but not a Priori. I'm a little scared to buy it online, sight unseen.

Without naming abstract things...does anyone really believe that we can know things exist with an a priori? Don't these types of ideas need empirical evidence behind them? Seriously who endorses this kind of thinking? "As ar back as gas creating the big bang...and other things I don't get" - wallacesawyer

I wish J.K. Rowling would bring characters back to life. This and Priori Incantatem are the closest she's done. Both times she described them as "not living and yet so solid" I wish I had some closure over how Sirius and James and Lupin and Lily, plus Fred and cedric and Dumbledore and Dobby and Mad-Eye and Snape and all those guys are doing. Characters I wouldn't have cared very much if they'd ...

Wow, what a great discussion. Isn't part of the problem that we Americans seem to have an a priori assumption that home ownership is good for everybody. Hey, I'm an agent and I what to sell, but sometimes one does come accross prospects who would be better off as renters. Ownership has it's pluses and minuses. Too bad this message didn't get to the millions who were only told of the pluses ...
