I haven't been following this case but was slightly suprised to see a headline via a news link This is one side of the story but it's baffling. Obviously his account won't include any bullying that might have gone on - it is hard to believe she would have won a case based on someone behaving like this so there must be more to it? But here is the part that really left me flummoxed: "What ...

I have recently cut out meat and dairy from my diet. I get my groceries from peapod. Can anyone tell me what they know of a single person, vegetarian/ vegan, paying per week for groceries? I do buy about $8 - $10 in cat food and treats per week, and occassionally have to buy kitty litter, garbage bags, and toilet paper. I don't buy beer or alcohol, or bread or condiments, and try to buy ...
Hello, Can anyone recommend a tour guide? I will arrive in Jo'burg at 9am on a Saturday and will be there the entire day with nothing to do. Don't want to wander on my own, I want to find a reputable guide to show me around.

I am 20 yrs old and am wanting to move to Wyoming from Southern Illinois in about a year. By that time I will be a certified vet technician and will have some money saved up so I'm planning on setting off on my own and heading west. I have been looking at the Laramie area because of the lower housing costs, which will be a must while I'm just starting out. But I was wondering if anyone had ...

Hi all! So, my 12 years of U.S.A. have all been West Coast (SFrancisco/Seattle) and am exploring moving East. I was born and raised in Rome. I still have a lot of ties in Europe, save lots of European attitudes/character is a part of me (probably 50% now :-), however, cherished and incorporated lots of good U.S. traits [i wouldn't still be here]. Assumptions/heard of- re: Boston: a)...

Some years ago, some friends of mine discussed whether a woman was safer alone in a town at night or in the middle of the countryside. We concluded that she was more likely to get into danger in the town, but if she did get into danger in the countryside, she was going to be in more trouble (fewer safe places, less chance of rescue from a stranger).

Not sure I understand the issue of a lady being alone in Johannesburg for the day. Different is you are talking about walking alone in the dark, which is not advisable in any large City anywhere in the World. Please elaborate.

Unfortunately $1000 a month does not get you much in the Boston area. If it is a very small place you are looking for, in a nice neighborhood IN Boston, I'd go for Back Bay or North End as a late 30s woman. Stay out of Charlestown and Somerville, unless you plan to hand-pick a nicer neighborhood and know the area enough to do so. Sections of Brighton are pretty nice, then again ...

Thank you for your views - Well ... I'm glad you all think Boston would suit me, and i'd fit "it". Reassuring. Now i need to find a job so that i can move there...- in progress, let's hope - ha! Oh, and i did* visit briefly for a few days a few years ago, but it's really too short to really "get" a place and its people . One only gets the superficial vibes, ...and that* was quite strange:...

I will tell you that someday you need to go visit Costa Rica .. its spectacular, very natural and while there are touristy things, it has reatined so much of its local culture and feel. quote: ORIGINAL: rockominal Good to see you on here again Belle, and I would have to say the whole mix is the best. I really don't see slicing the marriage off from the fun thing, if you know what I mean. A slice here a slice there. Sort of like well, it's really been fun, but now it's time to hit the road and I'll remember it all fondly. I'm just a sojourner for the good times while ...
