So, the C3 stepping Phenom II's have shipped to the UK and I was lucky to be able to purchase one. Well, I've currently got it at stock voltages (1.4V on the 965) I've upped the multiplier to 18 with a base of 200, for a clock speed of 3.6GHZ. I have had compuers for many years, but have never changed a processor. I recently purchased an HP Elite series computer with a 2.6ghz Phenom II 910 processor. I was thinking of upgrading the processor to the 965. I just am not sure if it would be a direct fit, and what else I would need to do besides just swapping it out. Like bios changes or cooling fan or anything else.

Dear all, I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my MSI PR200 (MS-1221). Intel (R) 965 Express Chipset Family . Current Latest Bios Version 1.5 It works perfectly. However, I want to program my screen to shut down after 2 minutes (either plugged to AC or battery mode). But it does not work. I've installed the drivers available online, at the MSI web site. Seems even though I had a 140w 965 and my bios supported it I still needed an update to run the 125w 965 which my old bios did not support. So I suggest checking to see if theres an updated bios for your mobo to see if they added support for this cpu and if it may help out some of you guys who got the 0941 and are getting a bit lower clocks out of them. My temps were reading a bit high ...
