The Media Center PC picked this up on my 928 search. The original air date was 2/24/2007 so it's nothing new but I don't think I've seen it before. Don't forget to set your DVR. ___________________________________________ Dec 31, 2:00 pm & Jan 03, 11:00 am (30 minutes) Classic Car Club Lamborghini TV-PG (L), CC Two sports cars take centre stage as Penny Mallory ...

It seems that one of the original front struts on my car has gone bad, so I'm curious if anyone knows of a high performance adjustable front strut for an '87 928 S4? Given that I autocross the car regularly I want something adjustable...better than the originals of course. Any ideas/suggestions?

Friends: I sell Porsche books, and today I got a call from a potential customer asking if I carried a 928 book that had anything about the "928 6E". I pleaded ignorance and asked for more information. He said, "Each year, Porsche built one 928 with nitrous-oxide injection, and they called them the 6E." OK, news to me. Is he dreaming, or am I ignorant? Anyone ever hear such a 928 tale...

This project has been in the works for quite some time, has recently reached a point where I have some photos to share with the 928 community. Engine - To Be Determined. Todd has not decided on which short-block he's going to use or the displacement. The engine in the photos is for mock-up purposes only. ECU - Autronic just like the red car The exhaust manifolds are ...

This car reminds me of the first 928 I drove in 87. It was a red 87 automatic. Red looks so good on this car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...fCarsQ5fTru cks
928 engine break-in EXPERIENCES (not opinions) I know there are a few rennlist motor break-in threads, full of opinions, and links to other e-artlcles, and generally speaking good and insightful information, but they are all light on first hand experience. I'm hoping to limit responses to this thread to only those folks ...

I'm in the process of doing some research on my next vintage car purchase. I'm a kid of the 80's and have always loved the 928. I've had a hard time getting reliable information about the car by just asking generic Porsche people because the community is so 911 centric. I can also find 1000 books on 911's but almost none on 928s. As a result, I wanted to probe the 928 experts for some ...

I'm also doing the 24hr of Lemons next summer with a 77 Chevy Monza. So this thing is money for other projects sitting. The Big Picture... We bought it right, threw some parts at it, fixed, cleaned, ...
