so i am new to car restoring. just turned 19 a few days ago. i bought this 1982 (or 81 not sure) 924 as a birthday present to myself. payed 600 cash for it. i would like to get the car running before i put anything special into the cosmetics. ideally i would like to take off this carburetor system that the previous owner installed. the modified setup is pretty exciting....

Well ive saw some about 3 weeks ago that volkswagon is buying out porsche and will b completly done in 2011 , does that mean our cars value will go up since it was one of the first porsche/volkswagon? Or did porsche and volkswagon worked together way b4 our cars? Will our nice 924 ever clasify as a classic car? Whts ure prepective?

I have a 79 924 the drivers side headlamp door is way off center right up against the fender with a large gap between the header panel& cover There has been no wreck related issues . Right side is perfect Was looking around to see if there is some kinda adjustment to get it recentered not seeing any . Anyone out there seen this before or have a good way to fix Thanks Poorsha924

This is the last peice I am needing for installation of my BAE turbo looking for a oil drain return line that screws into the side of a 924 turbo style oil pan or one that would screw into the the back of the oil pan in the upper drain plug hole for a standard 924 in any conditon, Thanks Poorsha 924

Hi all, Just after some feedback on spun bearings and a drop in oil pressure to diagnose a problem. Car is an 81 924 turbo with approximately 5000km on the clock since full rebuild.
