Hey all, Anyone happen to know if the MSI GD65 is the cheapest option for 8x8 Xfire support on the P55 chipset ? Was hoping to save some £££'s by going i5 over i7, but as I'm planning on running 2x5770's in Xfire, the cost difference is becoming marginal if £125 is the base option for 8x8 support in a P55 board.

Ok so I just purchased for my friend a Gigabyte P55A-UD5 Mobo. Has 3 PCIe 16x slots (physical) We got 2 x 5770 (since there is no 5800/5900's to be found). We understand that Crossfire will be 8x8 PCie... which shouldn't hurt performance any I assume over 16x16. Not by any noticeable amount anyway. Can I use the bottom PCIe slot for a 1x X-Fi? Or am I fresh out of PCIe ...

I'm working on a surprise for a friend of mine, and wanted to finish the stitching off with a knotwork border. I'm enclosing a 6x6 inch area, and want to leave about an inch on each side for clearance. So I think it would need to be 8x8, and I need ideas/good designs to work with and adapt. I do have TW's Guardian, but I'm not sure that I want to use that. Does anyone know of some knotwork ...

Alright guys... now that my B5 S4 Avant is fitted with GT turbos, I need to but some wider shoes underneath it. Unfortunately this means I have to go to 8x8.5 wheels and let someone else enjoy my DTMs. Tires are the acclaimed BFG KDW/2 in 235x40x18 with 80% Tread remaining. There are the usual signs of fender contact on the front tires as I did not roll the fenders, which ...

I'm buying a front load washer and dryer for my new home which has an 8x8 laundry room. Should I get a pedestal drawer or not? Seems like it would be convenient not to have to bend over but then I lose the space for folding on top or hanging clother over. Also, I've heard that the pedestal makes them noisier. As for brand, I'm thinking about the Whirlpool Duet or the Bosch Vision.
