So a full frame image on my camera fits an 8x12. If I want an 8x10 I have to crop off 2 inches of my image. I don't like to do this. I want the full picture I took, but I can't find 8x12 frames. It's frustrating. Why don't they sell this size frame when cameras take images that better fit 8x12, not 8x10. grrr So, where do you find 8x12 frames? Or even larger frames with a matting would work...

Does anyone have this problem? When I take a photo, the size ends up being 8x12. When I print, it needs to be 8x10 to fit normal mats and frames. However, I don't want to crop a lot of my photos to 8x10 because it cuts off something important in the composition. It's frustrating! Do they sell 8x12 mats? Or should I get some of them custom cut if they can't be cropped? I've already come across a ...

I'm about ready to make some larger prints from my DSLR (xt). The 'defacto' print / frame size seems to be 8x10. MPIX offers both 8x10 and 8x12 print sizes. An 8x10 print will crop a pretty significant amount of image, while an 8x12 will fit just about the entire image without cropping. What is common practice? Crop your image to fit an 8x10 frame? Or get an odd (but available) sized ...

Hey folks. I have an interesting situation that I'd like to get some assistance and ideas with. My home office is a pretty small room, probably about 8x12 or so. Currently I have my PC set up along one of the longer walls. I also have a stereo setup in the same room, which consists of a pair of Paradigm Monitor 5s (I think v3) powered by an Onkyo TX-SR700 receiver. I also have an NAD CD ...

Any idea where I can obtain hinge finials (acorns) for a diebold safe? Thread size appears to be about 5/8x12? Thanks, Jerry Answer Jerry, There are no "sources" for replacement acorns. You have a couple of choices - first, you can send me a sample and I can see what I have available (these are used, and not necessarily in multiples). Second, I can have my machinist fabricate new ...

We have a 3 bedroom house and 3 boys, ages 8, 5.5, and 2.5. Our "master" bedroom is about 12x14. The second bedroom is 12x10 (shared by the two older boys). The third bedroom is 8x12 (2.5 yo currently has his own room). I would love to have 4 bedrooms so the boys can each have their own room when they get older. But I don't know if we'll ever have the money for a larger house, and ...
