I've upgraded the Graphics Driver to the latest one, however when I am watching a netflix instant movie, or sometimes when I close my screen and open it, my resolution switches down to 800x600. I have a mini10 with the HD screen and it is just becoming a nuisance to have to switch it back up to 1366X768 everytime. any idea's why its defaulting to 800X600?

I have set up two emulators (VisualBoy Advance and Nestopia) on my PC and am running it through a VGA cable to my widescreen TV. Every resolution supported on the video card looks fine through these programs except for 800x600 and 1024x768. My native resolution is 1920x1080, with aspect ratio enabled. When I boot up the emulators to fullscreen, 800x600 shows squished. 1024x768 shows...

Hey everyone, how's it going? I've been at Overclock.net for some time now, and I've only dabbled into the Linux scene (I'm a gamer, I need my windows) I just installed Ubuntu 8.10 in a VM with Windows 7 RC1 as the host OS. The only problem I'm having is the fact that I can't get Ubuntu to run at a higher resolution, even 1024x768 would be nice. My native resolution is 1440x900, ...

I thought this was a reasonable buy A matsui 8inch photoframe with a 800x600 resolution. I think at this money with this screen resolution, it is a decent bargain. I have not seen one cheaper with a similar resolution. but if there is one, I am sure some one round here will point it out click here EDIT Was originally £34.99 now gone up to £44.99 ... not reasonable buy any more!!!

I had an old pc with a Nvidia Geforce 5200 fx graphics card and I recently bought a new pc with a Ati Radeon HD 5750. The problem is, on my old pc I was able to get up to 120 hz in lower resolutions such as 800x600 and 100hz in 1280 x 960 but now with my new graphics card I can only get up to a max of 85 hz. I am using the same Dell P991 crt monitor as before, and I have...

Frequently Asked Questions About Screen Resolution The term resolution when used in this FAQ refers to the monitor size in pixels, e.g. 800x600. Technically “resolution” is a measurement of dots per length unit (e.g. 96dpi), but since “everyone” use the term “resolution” while meaning the former we’ll use it in this FAQ as well. I thought I would show a video of me playing one of the dungeons of C9. The quality is not so good since I was using the game's own video record command. Fraps will drop the frame rate a little too low in massive areas. So it is only 800X600 resolution for the video record mode. The map I am playing is the lvl 44 map on Master difficulty mode. I haven't played C9 for 1-2...
