Okay, so I have a BDN XML and 8-bit PNGs to go with them and I'd like to convert them to BD-compatible SUP files (for use with TsMuxeR) without using horribly expensive Blu-ray authoring software like Sonic Scenarist. Is there any way to do it? I have tried with Sonic Scenarist too, but gave up because I would have had to make a whole BD-disc with it when I only wanted to make SUPs so I ...

I have an MP3 that I need to export as a 8 bit, 8 khz, PCM mu-law WAV file (it's for a phone system that is kinda old). I've found programs that will do mu-law but not at 8 bit, etc. Quicktime will do the 8 bit and 8 khz WAV, but not PCM mu-law (it only does linear). Ironically, Mu-law (u-law) is an option for sound compression for AVI, but not WAV. It's there. I just need to know ...

What a pleasant surprise this was! It was really original quality electronic music all night. I caught all of Kashioboy and only bits of the other acts. So, Kashioboy took us on this journey though many different styles and tempos that all worked suprisingly well with the choice 8 bit nintendo-esc samples that were layered on top. It started out kinda hard and glitched-out, heavy on the ...

We're having issues doing a multi-cam (3 sources) edit in Final Cut Studio with 8-bit, uncompressed video. We're running a Mac Pro with a 1.3Ghz Processor, 2 Dual Core with 4M of L2 cache and 16GB RAM. Our sequence settings are Safe RT, Dynamic, 1/4 quality frame play-back rate. The footage is very straightforward: guy talking at a podium in an auditorium type stuff -- ie. not a lot ...

Use left over mining charges, extend the River Tamar the last 4 miles to the north coast, cutting Cornwall off from the mainland. Attach outboard motors and sail the entire county somewhere safe, like the Caribbean.

thx for all the praise guys! it's nice to be back. I'll keep you guys entertained from now on! mvagusta, that's excellent advice. I think i'll put the reserator right above the fan. The HDD racking is very tight, so i dont expect it to rattle at all. if it does, i have countermeasures lined up :-) any opinions about the tubing guys?
