FRA-FCO (connecting from a UA flight). No advance seat selection, and could not get a boarding pass in advance in SFO from either the United or Lufthansa counters. In FRA, woman working behind the desk at the lounge was grumpy. Lounge was crowded with little available seating. Boarding for flight was fine, and the onboard service was typical Lufthans -- efficient and reasonably ...

Perth-Melbourne-Sydney. Cabin crew friendly and looked after passengers well. Foods are satisfying. The only downside is the IFE on long route such as Perth to Melbourne. For 4 hours in the air, there is virtually no entertainment.

CGK-KUL-CGK Business Class on B777-300. Excellent service, seat comfortable though not fully flat. Food excellent, crew attentive and helpful. Passengers get a ceramic souvenir from KLM. Very good value for money for Biz Class.

CNS-SYD on 737-800. Chose this flight as Qantas was the best value on this day. Aircraft is showing it's age and the entertainment still appears to be VHS, but showing the safety procedure on the drop down screens is a good idea. It appears to me the older crew on Qantas don't have the enthusiasm as some of the younger crew on Qantas Group airline Jetstar. While meals and drink were ...

Frankfurt - Singapore - Sydney, 747-400 in the mainly economy + business section configuration (ie no first or premium - doesn't affect much, except boarding and disembarking takes longer). Reasonable legroom - I was surprised as I am 6'1". Food good - pretty standard economy fare: except very small portions in the 2nd leg (SIN-SYD) - a hot brekky on the first leg and only fruit and ...

This is my favorite 747 livery - KLM I know Brad made one for someone, this is not detailed as the one Brad made, it may take me time to get to Brad's level. Great job on this one man ,even more that its hand painted ..at first i didn't realize this until i gave it a closer look... I am thinking also of modding a Herpa premium 747 since some time now ..(i remember a KLM which had its paint destroyed way back being on the bay ,missed this auction...Kai was it you who got this?) but it has to come at a reasonable price...349usd for the brown Lufti ...

Quoting Evan767 ( Reply 26 ): ID95'd it to CPT . Yea I think that's probably just as easy. Saves the headache of the DKR stopover. Quoting Evan767 ( Reply 26 ): What terminal did you park at in LAX ? Was it T5 where CBP didn't open until 8AM? Parked at T6 , had to walk underground to T5 . Quoting XJRamper ( Reply 27 ): But hey, the way I ...
