I'm trying to burn a video of mine onto a dvd. the video file itself is only 700mb but when i put it into iDVD the project becomes a 5Gb file and thus will not burn onto my 4.7 Gb dvd's. I have managed to reduce the size to 4.5Gb but the only options for dvd types are 4.2 gb and 10gb dual layer dvd's. I use 4.7gb single layer dvd's but since i have the 4.2gb dvd selected in project info it won't ...

Hi all, I couldnt find any video hosting sites that offer to upload my video file around 700MB(for free). I am in need to upload a seminar lecture that lasts about an hour and is nearly 650 MB in size. when i try to burn a 400mb .img with diskutility (on a 700mb cd) the app tells me "to big for this disc" .. same with toast 10.0.4; image gets around 800mb. when i copy the .img to usb-stick size remains same ! thanx for ideas ! p.s. information shows the right size (400mb) MBP 17" 3.06 SSD, ...

Have a car radio with cd/mp3. I want to copy my 200 songs on iTunes to a disc. I put them on a DVD+R 16 X , 4.7GB HP disc, nothing happens yet it plays on my Mac. Put them on a Sony CD-R 700Mb disc and the radio says 'reading' for a few seconds then switches back to radio. Ancient disc fromyears ago made on a PC plays straight away in the radio. What am I doing wrong? Thanks, Duncan...

Hi, new here but not to the process. Have tried many multi-step processes to get good DVD to AVI rips. The aXXo method is another good one especially if you want to target the 700mb size. However there must be a good one step ripper out there. Have tried Xilisofts DVD Ripper 5.0. Toatal Video Converter, MagicDVD, CloneDVD, and AutoGK. Only a couple of those let u call the future size...
