I understand that the trigger pull of a hammerless gun tends to be heavier because of the spring forces necessary to compensate for the absence of hammer mass. Ten day average volume 106,638,906. IMO we cannot keep this up without a major move. At this rate we would trade every single share of company stock in about 90 days. Since management hold majority interest with no signs of selling at these levels, that does not seem possible.

I'm shopping for a small-frame, 38-special revolver for concealed carry. I've narrowed my choices to the SW 638 or 642 and any of the various versions of the Taurus 85. Is the SW worth the extra $100 or so? Also, what's the difference between the SW models 638 and 642? Any advice is much appreciated.

EDIT**** Not CTX but Critical Defense This kinda surprised me. I picked up my new SW 638 today. Well, this evening I got to try it out. Ran through 50 rounds of the 38 spl Wally world value pack, 10 rounds of the Federal 110 gr hydrashock "low recoil", and 10 rounds of the 110 grain Critical Defense. All of these were standard pressure as this is all I could scrounge locally...

My First Smith and Wessons..... I picked up a 629-2 two Sundays ago and a 638 Saturday. I haven't had a chance to shoot the 629 yet, but have put a few rounds through the 638. I like it alot, definitely a new learning curve. I love pocket carry!!!!!!! Just need a good pocket holster now...... Sorry for the crappy pic....
