Up for sale is my Seiko 6309 in good condition. The watch movement is in working order and the previous own said that he had the watch serviced within the past year, no documentation was included so I can\'t confirm that. The watch is running fine with no crown issues or winding problems. The dial looks original, but it doesn\'t have any lume on the hour makers, only on the hands and the bezel ...
Hi All, Looking for some help...I recently bought a used 6309-7040 off Ebay Philippines to do some modifications. I wanted to put on a aftermarket yachtmaster bezel insert that measures 37mm outside, 31mm inside. Has anyone ever done this? Could someone help me and let me know if it fits? Or is I need to do some minor modding? Thanks!

Tonight was the annual Christmas parade in downtown Lewes, DE. Anna\'s choral club participated in the parade, serenading the crowd all along the route. For reasons unknown to me, I decided to take the old 6309 along for the parade. Oh how I wish Seiko would release an updated cushion-cased dive watch, with the 6R15 calibre and the same face. I know Noah\'s working on the Tsunami project...

SOLD Here\'s a fun watch for a good deal. Seiko 6309-7040. I had movement overhauled & cleaned when I bought this a couple years ago. Runs as good as they get. Caseback a bit over-polished, aftermarket dial, hands & bezel insert, but a fine runner on a cool strap. Crystal appears original. SOLD includes CONUS shipping & Paypal fees.

Howdy, I just landed an "asis" 6309-7290 today that I am going to mod, but its come in and the movement is in good-ish nick apart from the hands being a little dirty. I say dirt but it may well be corrosion. I\'m quite happy to leave the patina on the dial but on the hands I dont like. My question is - is it possible to clean the hands in situ? and what would one use for such a job? I was ...

I purchased this watch a few weeks back. It is original and runs very well. I purchased at a very reasonable price, understanding that the bezel was not operating correctly. It turns, but with force needed for part of a 180 round, about half the way through. It doesn\'t click, understand this is probably the spring that is missing - could use a source for that if anyone can help. I have removed ...

Well Guys, I was browsing some old pictures and I found something that gave me some kind of "I Did Something Wrong" feeling. I had a Beautiful Seiko 150M Diver 6309-7040. It was my FIRST Automatic and Divers watch. It was given to me by my uncle for getting good grades that year When I got it, it was 25 years old, never been serviced.I sent it to the Seiko Service Division of Puerto Rico...

...this is probably what it would look like. I finally got around to creating this monstrosity today. It was kind of fitting that I was watching Iron Man at the same time. Ok, here is what I did: I took a 6309-7040 and disassembled it, cleaned it fully, refinished it, put it through a lengthy bluing process, assembled it with Yobokies\' AR domed crystal, replaced the 6309 movement with that of ...

Thanks everyone ! My 6309 needs a servicing- it runs a bit slow, and the reserve is quite low. Otherwise I\'d probably have it on daily... even though I own many other watches, some rather high-end. It is almost lunch time- darn it, nachos sound SO GOOD right now! :)
