Hi, Does anyone know if I can fit a STI clutch disk into a 05 LGT 5MT? I am eliminating the dual mass flywheel and found a really cheap (free) sti flywheel. Will it fit? Do I need to get other STI components or just the disk? thanks * Registered users of the site do not see these ads.

Hi, I am in the process of changing my clutch and found out that the flywheel is a dual mass type. I got my hands on a OEM STI flywheel. Does anyone know if the STI clutch disk fits (# of splines, separation of splines, etc) into the 05 LGT 5MT main shaft? Is there anything else that I need to change to make this swap? thanks

Hello there, I've had my 2010 5MT for about three months now. The temperature around here hovered around -15C (5F) all day. When I came back from work tonight, the Foz gave me some pretty rough gear changes (2nd and 3rd) for the first 10 minutes or so. So, has anybody had any MT problems with the R18s similar to the gearbox found on the Si? ie. notchy 3rd gear, 3rd gear popping out and other b.s.? The reason why I ask is because I have been driving a relative's DX-G civic in MT and *occasionally* find that I seem to 'miss' 3rd gear when shifting up from 2nd, I mean that the stick/rod seems to 'catch' just on either side of the 3rd gear gate...
