I have a 91 300te 4matic. The 4matic light is on, and I have the car in test mode. It does not seem to leak when the car sits, but when I get to about 45-50mph the cars leaks from the transmission/4matic really heavy. It leaks on to the exhaust and I get white smoke coming through the floor. I stopped and looked at it and it is clear and oily. I think it is hydraulic fluid. So my ...

Does anyone know of a good mechanic in the Newton area that I can get a pre purchase inspection for a 2000 E430 4matic? The car has 69K, appears to be in good shape with an asking price of $11,900. Is there anything that I should be looking for (besides the usual like brakes, tires, etc.) that is a typical problem for these cars? Thanks a lot for any help!

I have to get a fourth car...I currently have a 335i xDrive, M6, and Mercedes E350 4matic. I need something with AWD, and that is safe. I considered the 328xi but would like something with a little more room and that is maybe a little easier to use in the tech dept... (not for me, I should add). What have people heard about the Infiniti G37...any advice / input would be appreciated!!...

i have an 05 C240,(not 4matic), with 27,000 miles that never had brakes replaced before. My tech told me the pads need to be replaced but the rotors are fine. My friends tech says that even though the rotors look fine they should be replaced with the pads. Is it a matter of preference? Which is right?
