I have a 2001 330i which has just passed 100,000 miles. Although it is not throwing fault codes, it has run better in the past. I can pick up a 330i in nice condition for $20k. But no warranty and as it's at 55K even aftermarket warrs are big bucks. I can afford some repair costs, a $2K repair wont break the bank, what's your experience with 330s of this vintage - is it just too risky to run without a warranty? Or a reasonable thing to do if one self-insures (has $$$$ in the bank)? carfax is clean, everything works...
