I tried using the disk for the 64 bit version of Windows 7, but got an error that I could not use that disk on a 32 bit version. How can I start over usine the 64 bit disk? I did download the easy transfer for both versions but could not use the 64 bit when I discovered the wrong disk had been in the drive. Help! I am sure the 32 bit will slow down my xp even though Windows 7 is up and working...

After hours of downloading the upgrade to Windows 7, I found out that I have the 32-bit version when I need the 64-bit version. The option to select the version was given *after* I downloaded the files already. Do I have to return, repurchase, and redownload the files just to get the 64-bit version or is there an easier way? 1 person needs an answer I do too

I am very pleased to announce that the Hack and Slay/ Slash game ‘ Severance – Blade Of Darkness ‘ works fine on Microsoft Windows 7 Professional. Please note I have bought the ‘ Professional ‘ version of Windows 7 (32 Bit Version), which has the added capabilities of running many XP productivity applications in the special Windows XP Mode2. If you want the Professional version, currently costs...

I have a computer with 4GB of RAM and a 64-bit capable CPU (AMD Turion 64 X2). Could somebody please tell me which version of Windows 7 performs better on this kind of system - 32 or 64-bit? P.S. I've been having stability issues with Windows 7. I've described the problem here: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w 7performance/thread/4df56e5e-607d-4349-833a-cd22e8 73b4c0 Any help...

You mean there ISN'T any noticeable difference? I tried 64-bit version too but I only had 2GB of RAM at the time and the system's performance was somewhat sluggish. P.S. I'm a computer networks engineer. What do you do? Please send a PM. No, I mean as I said "there IS a noticeable difference." (In my experience of course.) Your specific experience could very well be different. I can ...

I'm not 100% sure whether the 64 bit windows 7 pro version will work for my needs, but I'd like to try it. If it doesn't, I'd like to scrap it before activation and install the 32 bit version instead. I'm wondering whether this will work, or whether one activation code is "locked in" to either the 64 or 32 bit version upon purchase. TIA. 1 person needs an answer I do too

I guess I'll spent next weekend working on getting 64-bit version to work.. and just toss out 32bit plugins.. buy new plugins that work with 64-bit.. and move my Celemony Melodyne Editior via unregistering it and reinstall / reregister it for 64bit.. I currently have Celemony working in 32bit cause I have been pulling out my hair trying to make 64-bit use it.. but it seems I need 2 installs and 2...

To install the 64 bit version of Windows 7, you need to boot from the DVD, you cannot start the installation from within Windows 7. Please note, you will have to do a clean install too, there is no in place upgrade path. You can use the Windows Easy Transfer utility to backup your personal files and settings to an external hard disk. You can install it from the Windows 7 32 bit disk and create a...

32bit and 64bit Vista Operating Systems are 2 completely different Operating Systems. Check with the Router's Manufacturer re its actual Vista 64bit Compatibility. You say it is NOT Vista 64bit Compatible; check with them anyway. If it is not 64bit Compatible, exchange the Router. OR: To change your 64bit Vista to 32bit Operating System, you would have to BUY a FULL Vista 32bit Operating ...

I have an older Canon scanner than yours, and Canon has both the 32 & 64 bit drivers online. Up until the actual retail release, I was having a hard time finding any drivers, but now I have drivers for everything I have-and some of it is really old. Erik Hendrup wrote: > For my scanner (Canon 9900F) there seem to be no hope, as Canon will not deliver any driver for Windows 7 in the future. ...
