For our homeschool co-op each kid is going to do an oral book report. I am not quite sure what to do for my 2nd grader. He doesn't really read any chapter books by himself...we usually read them together. Can it be a chapter book we have read together? Does it need to be something he has read himself? Would a picture book be ok for a book report? Help... Thanks ...

What difference does it make? She'll take whatever test erb decides to give her based on the fact she's going into 3rd grade. Erb is for private and OLSAT for public g&t.

i think teachers underestimate his ability, and ALSO think he might have adhd. but I wonder if he could have adhd without also having other problems (at home and in other non-school environments).

thanks ladies....we were going to do Mr Poppers Penguins but might pick something simpler/shorter....DS is sort of shy and doesn't talk in front of others much. Therefore, I doubt he is going to have much to say...something shorter might be easier for his first book report. Debbie
