I have a used but pristine-looking fork on my 29er. The manual recommends starting at 80 lbs air pressure and adjusting for sag. I have mine now at 150 and it sags too much. I weigh about 195. Should I keep pumping it up or is there another adjustment I need to think about?

I just purchased a 2009 29er 4 from REI. All the specs I read on line listed the brake size as 185mm front 160mm rear, including REI website. After I got home, I noticed the front brake rotor on my bike is 160mm same as the rear. Can anyone else with this same bike and year model tell me what size is on yours? And is your front brake mount post or IS?

Hey, I'm now seriously looking at a 29er... I know I'll lose something in spec compared to a 26, but hey, there you go... I think I can live with that. So there's a Kona Kahuna Or a Gary Fisher Cobia Or is there anything else for under a grand? Looking at these to, the Tora on the GF seems an immediate choice maker over the Kona, but then there are mech ...

I saw mention in a thread a while ago that a more well equipped 29er may be in the works. Any info on if or when one may be available? How will it be spec'ed?

I need a 2010 29er Lefty. What are my options? According to the European and US Cannondale site the 29er Leftys will not be available in Europe. So what to do? Can I just ask my local dealer to order a US 29er Lefty or do I have to go with the normal Lefty and have it rebuild? Talked to my LBS a few times but he still don't know anything about the new models.

....I've seen the WTB Weirwolf LT....doesn't really look like a 2.55 to me. Anyone seen another 29er tire that is FATand low tread? This is for my SS 29er - I want low knob for easy rolling on pavement and thru snow...but also fat for straight tracking thru snow. Ideas? thanks.

I am getting a good deal on this fork for my new build, the only issue is 120mm might be too much for my frame, i have never owned a fox fork before but i am hoping that it can be changed to a 100mm travel, is this possible ?

I have a Redline Monocog 29er single speed mountain bike for sale with the 17" frame. It also has a Chris King headset, Thompson Stem, and Titec handlebars. This bike looks like it is brand new and has less than 20 miles on it. The reason for the low use is I just never rode it as much as I thought I would. I am asking $500 OBO

Hi Gang, I have a Reba 29er that was Pushed. I am getting oil on the left stanchion. Does this mean the seal is toast? Is it bad to ride it like this? If I wipe off the oil, and cycle the fork a bit, the oil re-appears. Thanks for any advice. M.

So this is my first 29er and I love the way it handles on the climbing but would like a more travel on the front fork for the downhill, has anyone run a 120mm fork on one of these bikes with out screwing up the geometry?

Not very happy, just had this in response to a query to Justridingalong about the Ardent 2.4 29er tyre... Unfortunately, it seems that the distributors for Maxxis are not bringing the 2.4 29er Ardents in to this country so we can't get any. So looks like anyone in the UK after these will have to import their own...

Can someone with a 2009 Cannondale 29er 4 tell me what size front brake rotor came on your bike? Also, post mount or IS mount? Specs say 185mm but mine has 160mm. It also came with Juicy fives because REI had to replace the brakes under warranth and could not get the threes so they puts the fives on. Not sure about the rotors.

OK, I'm all in. Committed to tubeless on all wheels. Two 29er wheels, a 26, a 650B and soon road tires too. I used to have Mavic Crossmax UST with Hutch tubeless tires and I never used sealant unless tires stopped holding air without. Now I have Stans sealant in all tires. All are (mostly) holding air. I have removeable valve cores and a Stans plunger/syringe. How do you know when it's...
