I need to sell this truck. The city I live in claims it to be prohibited to park in residential areas. First, they claim it to be a flat bed. Now they claim the designated weight specification is greater than 1 ton and that makes it prohibited. Its a F350 - a 1ton truck. City Code 3-8-B-2 A-1-f Truck is loaded: - 176" wheelbase (cab & chassis) - 6.0l turbo diesel, 5-sp auto - 4x4, ...

any ideas on this? on my 2005 F350, my 4x4 switch on the dash turns the 4x4 light on on the dash, but won't switch it into 4wd. I can hear it clunk, but it doesn't go into 4wd. I have to get out and manually turn the hubs to make it work. Is this a fuse? a vacuum line? both? help......

I need to sell this truck. The city of Lenexa claims it to be prohibited to park in residential areas. First, they claim it to be a flat bed. Now they claim the designated weight specification is greater than 1 ton and that makes it prohibited. The truck has a empty weight of 6500#s, GVWR of 11,500#s. My Forenza has a empty weight of ~3100#s, and a GVWR of 3737#s. Both should be prohibited. ...

We wanted to possibly put the Wideout or 8.6 MPV on an F350 with the 4800GVW front end. Dealer says NO. Not only that, as it turns out, the heaviest Western V we can mount is the 7.6 poly. I've seen lots of pics on this site of guys with wideouts on 250s or 2500s. Same with the 8.6 and 9.6 V's. What the Hell????????

I seem to have a recurring problem with my F350 overheating when towing. Is this a common deal with these trucks? If so what has been done to stop this? Keep in mind that i'm towing a 40ft Weekend Warrior with my "K" boat inside so there is quite a bit of weight.. Thanks in advance

Posting for a friend, see below for his e-mail and phone number. He isn't a truck guy and is not sure of the diesel engine size, axles, ratios or trans. It's a bone stock truck, whatever came on it from the factory, that's what's on it now. 2005 Ford F350 4WD, diesel (size??), A/T w/OD, A/C, Camper Special with Tow Command transmission brake system, hitch, Alpine removable CD AM/FM radio, ...

Here is my best description of a reoccurring issue that I cannot get the dealer to recreate. This has been going on for as long as we have owned the truck and seems to be increasing in pitch. Yet itÂ’s extremely intermittent. With a load in tow, more than not. But rarely when driving locally, but it will occur. At a torqueing (spelling) low speed 20- 40MPH not speeding up and not slowing...
