In WP for Joomla 2.7.1.2 the Akismet plugin took the API Key just fine. I have this installed on several different servers. After upgrading them to WP for Joomla 2.8.6 none of them will accept the key. I enter a valid key and the validation fails with the following error: "The key you entered is invalid. HELP! I just upgraded to the newest version of Wordpress, ad dammit! My carefully styled site is now lost and it look almost exactly as when I installed it months ago! I could just cry! I just updated to the latest version of wordpress. Now I cant login. I already went to: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/181950?replies= 1 and following the myphpadmin tools still didnt work. I changed the md5 hash to the correct one using an online tool. But it keeps routing me back to the login page. I DO have the old database backed up. Is there a file I can simply replace that ...

Hello, Does anyone know how to integrate these two successfully? I integrated the databases and added a:2:{s:9:"keymaster";b:1;s:13:"administrator";b:1; } to the admin in phpMyAdmin but now I am getting errors with adding and editing pages/posts. Thanks :)

Apparently doesn’t work with 2.8.6. Totally clean install of WP, only plugin activated, and it 404s when you try to add your AWS info. The gap that is mysteriously appearing after upgrading to 2.8.6 (maybe .5 I never tried it) - was caused by the "All in One Adsense and YPN" plug in on my system. Deactivate it to verify - your gaps should go away.

Hello, I think I have these two integrated and working but seems to be a problem with the bbpress keymaster having access to the wp-admin area. The only solution I have so far is to have 2 admins... one for WP ( a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;} ) & one for BB ( a:1:{s:9:"keymaster";b:1;} ) I have set the role in the bbpress-admin for wp-admins to be keymasters but it doesn't seem to work...

I just automatically installed 2.8.6-fi on top of 2.8.6 and it seems to have broken the widget menu. I can't drag and drop the widgets anymore. When I place the cursor above a widget, the pointer changes to the drag-and-drop arrows as it should, but when I try to drag, it only selects text. I get the same behaviour in Safari and Firefox. Other sites using plain 2.8.6 work like they should.

Okay... That sounds easy. I'll try that out... Thanks again for helping... I'm considering finding an whole other theme that matches my needs more precisely, than the defalut one, and then kind of taking it from the top all over. But more efficient this time...
