My rear 6x9s in my prelude are getting worn out and i want some more kick. I have the Acoustic Feedback System and realize the rears run on a small amp at 2ohms as opposed to 4ohms which almost all aftermarket speakers run. I'm not a audio noob or anything but my question is would Infinity speakers work since they run on 2ohms and this shouldnt affect the AFS right? I dont really want to have to...

Alright, they are in, turns out they come with a form of spacer as it is, however the bar still hits it but it doesnt seem too bad. Its not in 100% solid yet, the screws aren't holding up too good, so i may get some small nut and bolts. Sounds better but now that i have that in, i want a new deck lol...... and i may want a sub again, something small though, i want my trunk.

After living with no left channels in either of my door speakers I decided today to buy some new speakers. i went to my local Best Buy (not the best place to buy but i didn't want to make a big deal out of this,) and chose the 6.5 inch Infinity Kappa 62.9i speakers for front and rear. It wasn't until i was reading some very old posts about the factory amp bypass that I thought to check ...

Since the speakers are drawing power from the Amp, and your considering upgrading the Amp, that wont be a problem. DONT USE those 2 Ohm speakers on the Factory Amp !!!! They will sound very loud yes - But youll overheat the unit at even medium volumes. Im gunna have to consider those infinities too!

You COULD wire front and back in series and bring those 2 ohm speakers up to 4 ohms. You would lose front and rear fader though. I agree the best option is to probably buy a small 4 channel amp.

That's what I like about the F300 though...headroom. 50 x 4 @ 4 Ohms not enough? How about 75 x 4 @ 2 Ohms with some higher power handling Infinity 2 Ohm speakers? Still not enough? Maybe you might be interested in a 3-way passive set up with 150 x 2 @ 4 Ohms. I like having options...other than selling the amp if I decide it's not performing. That's the whole reason why I purchased the F600...
