My rear 6x9s in my prelude are getting worn out and i want some more kick. I have the Acoustic Feedback System and realize the rears run on a small amp at 2ohms as opposed to 4ohms which almost all aftermarket speakers run. I'm not a audio noob or anything but my question is would Infinity speakers work since they run on 2ohms and this shouldnt affect the AFS right? I dont really want to have to...

Hey guys, First I wanted to introduce myself and let you all know that you have a great site! I was wanting to know what opinions do you have of the new Orion XTR PRO 15" 2 ohm subs. I have 2 of them installed in a 10 cubic foot box ported and tuned @ 36 Hz. Some say the box is perfect and slams harder due to the bigger than spec size, then some say that it doesn't slam as hard as...

I'm building a larger subwoofer for my home theater and am selling four of my Soundsplinter speakers for $210 ea. plus shipping from 77573. They sell for $335 ea. I have a UPS account so I can get a better rate. I've built and used a lot of subwoofers in my past and the Soundsplinter has performed the best for me. I've been using 4 passive radiators with them because their Q allows it and...

You COULD wire front and back in series and bring those 2 ohm speakers up to 4 ohms. You would lose front and rear fader though. I agree the best option is to probably buy a small 4 channel amp.

I went with the JBL GTO's (Not because of the name, though! ). 2 ohm components up front and 2 - ohm coaxes in back. Chose them due to reviews and the price. Gary

Big learning curve here. Thanks for the input. Went back up and listened to the Def Tec 7004,s again today. That,s 4 times. They sound good to me. Little high in price. Like the looks of the Aperions 6T-db-hb-xd but haven,t heard them. Has anyone listened to them or have an opinion on them?? Here is what I,m doing. I sold my pool table and a pool cue.
