I know that vin numbers are located on the door, windshield, and fender apron. However, for my 1969 mustang, all three locations have different numbers. And the one on the apron is partially gone. Are there any other locations on a 1969 where the vin number will be placed? Thanks

everything looks tight but the front windows are pretty loose. I pulled the panel off and noticed the glue and everything was fine. I think what is loose is the U shaped guides that slide up and down the poles. is there an easy way to fix this?

I hooked up an Edelbrock Performer on the 1969 Mustang Coupe Grande. I just don't know where to hook up the electric choke... I know it is a keyed position, but I can't tell what wire goes where or anything. They're all dirty faded wires. Is there some way to tell which wire to hook up? Is there an easier way (like the alternator or something)?

Just joined. Working on a frame-off restoration/modification. Car is currently being prepped for paint. It's been a complete nightmare, twice the budget and 3 times the estimated time. It's for my 16 year old son. Wife is about to divorce me. Anybody have a 1969 Mach 1 and live close to Coppell? We need to measure where the quarter panel side lights go and also the hood scoop. If so, let me know...

We are doing a frame-off RestoMod (sp?) and need help to correctly place the quarter panel side lights and the hood scoop. We had to use new quarter panels and the old ones were thrown away by the metal guy we used. Are there any templates available? Or if you have 1969 Mustang Mach 1, would it be possible to hook up this weekend and measure and trace from your car? I live in Coppell. I ...

Hi all, I have a 69 coupe and the turn signals (emergency flashers work) are giving me issues. I have replaced the flasher and turn signal switch with no change. If I read the schematic correctly they should be powered by the blue wire from the connector. I have power from the blue wire until I push the turn signal lever up or down, then no power at all. I have checked everything I can think of ...

Hi Everyone I currently have my 1969 coupe all stripped down at a body shop. Just would like to keep my eyes open on correct Primer and paint being used so I can have the best possible paint job. I believe they are using Dupont for the paint but not sure what primer they will be using. What is the best primer and paint to use? I would like the car painted ...

Hello! I have had a 1969 Grande (302) for about 5 years now; I had never really been a real Mustang enthusiast, but an older friend of mine had gone to the trouble or restoring this one and it is a lovely Laser Red with a black top. THAT caught my eye! I couldn't afford what he wanted for it at that time, but after a few years I got it from him the MOMENT I heard he was selling it after ...

Yes NPD has them, I reccomend you spray paint around your bolt heads a differnt color than your car door so if you move any adjustments they will be easy to get back to Joe

If all things you explained have been checked and verified not to be the culprit, Then you need to consider the transmission. The shifter handle wont vibrate because its not attached to the transmission. It could also very well me a bent axle. I'm assuming the engine was rebuilt and in doing so, the balancer was matched with the flywheel ???
