Hello. My mother purchased a home in Los Angeles County in 1962. About 10 years ago, inspectors told her to demolish her patio, she provided proof that the patio was built in 1931 and I overheard the inspector say that since it was built before code she did not have to tear it down. Now, another inspector is adamant that she must to remove the patio. Should I see the advice of an attorney? ...

1931 Ford Model A Pickup - Death Trap Dave's Lohr's '31 Model A pickup is retro-cool, and it runs 10s! Dave's Lohr's nickname is Littleman, a tag from a drill sergeant, whose name was actually Hell, back before Dave was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division. That service would mean he's fearless. Later, Littleman won the job at So-Cal Speed Shop on the Hard Shine TV show, but turned ...

The US Producer Prices posted earlier today showed a rise of 1.8% in November which is the largest increase in 3 months. The Dollar benefited from this release by raising against most of the other majors. The market now perceives that, after the release of this additional good result, the FED should, at least, be able to now consider raising its interest sooner than later.

In bad need of almost the entire right quarter from a "31 Model A Coupe. Bought it from a man in Montana and before I got it, it was dropped from a rack. The top had been cut for a chop and never finished. Fell on right rear quarter with no top and really creased the quarter from the window down and back. Sad part is he never told me till I picked it up in Nashville, TN and found it for myself...

I'm not sure if this is the right board to ask this question on. Since I have a 1931 Chrysler street rod, I look here for old car topics, but, for preformance questions I post over here: http://www.hotrodders.com/forum/ I'm sorry if I step on any toes but, there's a lot of stuff I've learned of the other board. _________________ It's a 1931 Chrysler CM6, NOT A FORD!!!

Psycho is my joint favourite movie of all time - the other being James Whale's 1931 Frankenstein. Am I the only one who's remembered the significance of today? Remember the superimposed titles during the opening shots of Psycho - FRIDAY, DECEMBER ELEVENTH, TWO FORTY-THREE P.M.? Well that was exactly 50 years ago today. There have been many interesting threads on this board about who would play ...
