Article This is about a guy whose mother died 10 years ago so he finally went through her stuff only to find a book that was due on May 10, 1910. He went back to the library after stating "It was the right thing to do" and was charged $361.35. They told him he didn't have to pay the fine, but the book would be placed in their "Special Collection" area. Although yes, it would "technically"...

Ok Guys...I'd like your thoughts...I received the email below. The question is how would a 13 year-old Boy Scout have built those two rods in 1910. Doesn't say bamboo so could probably be wood. I'd guess splice joints. Shooting board? Whittle a piece of ash? Any historians please jump in here.. Hello Dennis, I thought I would send this to you before I call....

I feel it could use a "touch" of something but I don't want it to be too loud. Comments and suggestions welcome. Best, Kristian < Message edited by Kristian9K ...

After a long dry spell of buying not a thing,I caved last week and bought this from a friend at work.Carl Gustaf's 1910 , all matching. Looks to have 95% of its original finish & no rust stamp on the marking disc. Some striping in the wood,I'm not sure how visible it is in the pics.-TR

I received a box of antique processing equipment ("If you want this, you have to take it all"). Included is a circa 1910 Kodak wooden film tank and the metal tank that must have been included in the package. From what I can deduce, the wooden box must be a daylight loader that spools roll film into an apron to be used in the metal processing tank. This came with an original labeled Kodak box...
