Hi Girls, Im 13+5 weeks pregnant and have had a bad throat cold etc all week that almost gone now but this afternoon ive got chronic earache ive taken 2 paracetamol and ive got a hot water bottle on it any ideas what else i can do?? Cant go to doctors till monday and have a 14 month old to look after on my own as bfs working!! Help Ruth

update on the potty training, DD is now 13 weeks and does more than 70% of her poos in the potty r/o and about 20% of her pees. We've been training her with a baby bjorn tiny potty. When she makes a straining noise, I bring her over and take off her diaper and sit her on the potty. then she either pees or poos. the reason the pee is less is that she doesn't always indicate when she needs to ...

I had an ultrasound at a little over 13 weeks (NT scan) and the tech said she saw white lines between the legs and predicted a girl. Is this really possible to predict at 13 weeks? Has anyone been told whether they are having a girl or a boy this early (and it was correct)? Just curious. I know a better determination will be at the 20 week scan but I was just wondering...

The visit went well. We all got to hear the heartbeat and it was strong. I know everything will be fine, I'm not worried about losing this baby anymore. Then my son woke me up this morning and told me " I know what the baby looks like!" he had a dream and told me she has my hair and daddy's nose :) so cute. lol....

Hello you lovely ladies. This is my first post here. I am 13 weeks today. I am scheduled today at 2pm to go and do my Nuchal Transluency (SP?) Anyone have this done? And if so what should I expect? Thanks ladies!

Do you think that we will be able to hear the heartbeat on the doppler at this appointment? Just wondering because I have already had three sonograms because the first one they couldnt find a heartbeat. Then the second was done a week later to check again for the heartbeat. Just curious as to how much weight other expectant mother's have gained at 13 weeks and my pre-pregnancy weight is 105 pounds. I haven't gained any weight and I have been eating like I normally do (if not a little bit more), no nausea or vomiting so I expected that I'd gain a few pounds by now.
