12V air compressor recommendations Does anyone have any recommendations for a 12volt air compressor that I can keep in my truck? There are very few gas stations around here that still offer up air for tires without charging 75 cents. I'd like something that can fill up my truck tires to 80psi when I'm out on a trip ...

Re: 12V air compressor recommendations I have ran mine up to 55psi but the volume was low because the tires were low profile. I don't see it having a problem. Head might get a little warm with the work. I have a spare 32 in the garage that I will pump up Thursday to see what it will hold and how the compressor will deal with ...

My wife is actually gonna buy me something for our wedding anniversary I want a offroad accesory. I was thinking a genuine 48" hi-lift jack or an air compressor like this one , or one like of a different quality. I think the high lift would be great if I got stuck or broke but......... I have been wheeling this whole time with 40-45psi in the tires (cant air down for offroad then ...

I'll just pile on to what everyone else has already told you and say forget the electric compressor, the high lift is the way to go. But while you're getting the high lift, DON"T BUY THE 48" ONE. Get the taller one! Is it harder to store? Just a little, but the extra height is well worth the extra cash. I can't tell you how many times I've maxed mine out on height and it was barely enough to...

Hi All Does any member know the specifications for MB's own little portable compressor? I have one which I purchased separately after the original owner of my car decided to keep the compressor that came with the car. I can appreciate why he did this, it's a beauty and not too noisy. However, there is nothing marked on its outer casing to indicate its maximum PSI or ...

lol, well at least you'll always have your gf's 4runner to practice/test your ideas on . And do you know if I get the 12v air compressor (Wolo Model 840) if I'd be able to also use it for other purposes? Or does it only have the power to run the air horns and nothing else?

I bought a Q-Maxx MF-1052 high volume air compressor, based on comments from off-roaders. It comes with alligator clips for the battery. Off-roaders often deflate tires for certain terrain, and then reinflate. Those cigarette lighter "250 PSI" pumps can take 10 minutes or more to inflate a tire. On the downside, the Q-Maxx is heavier. It's almost 10 pounds, so I am debating ...

i actually have an 09. so it looks different. it doesn't have that much space due to the 12v plugs and inverter, only the space for the cd changer,so maybe going downward. or it fits perfectly next to the spare where my air compressor would be.and one more spot im found was under the rear seat.....in the center there is a slot, that can fit my manual...so i have a few options..
