I just recently purchased a Palm Pre and I'm, currently, not in a very populate area that allows a great internet connection and it continues to tell me that WebOS 1.3.1 is available but that I cannot download it because of the low connectivity. Is there any way I can download it onto my pc and transfer it over to the Pre?

Would it matter if Java version 6 was installed when the readme.txt says to install Java2 Standard Edition (J2SE) SDK version 5.0 (or 1.4.2)? It appears to be working but I wanted to know if anyone has have any problems with the installation when a higher version of Java is being use?

I've been seeing DJ's talking about how great the VFX-1 is and asking if they need Itch 1.3 or 1.4 and I'm a little confused. First off, I've looked all over the web and can't seem to find a single VFX-1 for sale anywhere. Plus, I only see Itch 1.1 for download so how are people downloading 1.3 and 1.4? After updating to 1.3.1, I am getting notifications during a call again. It was fine with 1.2.1, the patch in preware worked. But now i am using the new patch in preware, and i am still getting the notifacations, driving me crazy lol. However, each time I try to remove a patch, I get an error that they can't be removed. After I installed the last update 1.3.1, anything I open takes 6 seconds to open. And the entire system is laggy. I only have file coaster installed (which does not work any longer), I do not have any patches installed. Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve. Thanks
