Ok gentlemen tis the season to get more .45 ammo but I see that there is none here. Is anyone else encountering this problem? If so I will travel to Laredo which is south on the border with Mexico. Took my new Loaded Target shooting today with 3 brands of FMJ ammo. Winchester Walmart white box, Israeli military, and some I had never heard of before but my dealer had some, HSM. HSM wouldn't fully chamber a new round after firing half the time and would lock up my slide so bad I couldn't hardly open the gun. I'm not tracking with you on the Loaded Target pistol. What kind of 1911 is it and what kind of magazines do you use ? However, it sounds like the HSM ammo leaves a lot to be desired. Keep us updated on your progress.

| wow Deadman, you just dropped five Ben Franklins, ($500). I think you should be set for a while. I noticed you continue gravitating towards the bonded. From what I have read it doesn't expand quite as large in diameter but it surely holds together better. I have not heard about the ammo companies turning on us civies, makes you wonder what's really going on.

When I had a 45, 185 gr. speer JHP's with standard load Unique powder worked great, about as much recoil as a 9mm.My 3.6" barreled Firestar loved it. I scored a perfect 250 with that pistol when I got my CHL...

Black hills makes a 200 grain match SWC. I am not a match shooter and have not shot this round before but I have shot a lot of other Black Hills ammo and they make great stuff.
