Norton just detected a virus Backdoor.Tidserv.H!.inf which has affected the system file atapi.sys and it can't remove it. So, I discovered I had a trojan virus (pakes.u rootkit) on my C:\\windows\system32\drivers\atapi.sys . My anti-virus programs couldn't get it off, so I set up a restore point and I moved the atapi.sys to a new folder on my desktop and deleted it. I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit, and SP1 came pre-installed, so I knew i couldn't uninstall and reinstall the SP1. So I ran command interface....

my windows XP crashed due to peer block reason was pbfilter.sys.... blue screen of death appears and the problems started for me.... I dont know how to overcome this problem or how to fix it and i dont want this would happen again.... This was the report generated by nirsoftbluescreen software ....i am attaching that report....... ...
