and a couple more pics from a ride at MMP with my friend Rod. what an awesome, almost double, rainbow at 7:30am. the skies continued menacing - and beautiful - thruout the morning and we got sprinkled on a couple of times. the trails were dustless and perfect for our 22 miler.

I'd love to know if I can get a second/duplicate (perhaps motorcycle-sized?) plate to permanently mount to my bike rack (a T2). Is that possible or legal? I'm guessing that having the rack down and bikes mounted would obscure my plate and put me in violation of state law. Why was I able to buy a bike rack that causes me to break the law when I use it? In 2 years having the T2 mounted to ...

It could be so much worse, back home in the UK there's been the same law regarding covering your license plate for years, plus a bike or wheel chair rack should not cover your rear lights either. You supposed to buy an additional board that allows for lights and license plate to be displayed aft of the bike racks. For example...

I Don't Care If The License Plate Law Is The Dumbest Law In The World. Get A New $5 License Plate Frame That Complies With The Law And stfu !!!!!!

Ok, don't get me wrong here - I think the *application* of this law is stupid as sh*t. But, we have to realize - the police have very little to do with the law, other than interpretation and enforcement. The *real* A$$H0LZ here are those dumb phuks that sit in our legislature in Phoenix. They don't fund schools, so kids drop out and get into crime. They don't fund police, so they think this ...

One of the better threads in a long time. I don't know any of the areas, but the old highway pic is my favorite. What a cool ride!!

We're making an escape from our frozen little world. Fruita and Grand Junction are cold snow covered and not thawing soon! We're going to hit Bootleg for a couple of days and then head down to Phoenix. We'd like to shuttle South Mountain and maybe meet up with some locals for some good trail tours. Anybody want to help? We'd be happy to return the favor if anyone ever wants to come visit western ...

We should have a wednesday and friday shuttle of SOMO happening (early morning, no traffic). . .check the threads. . . as you can tell from other threads stay away from SOMO shuttling on the weekends Other than the shuttles, what are you looking for and on what days?

Id be happy to take you on a ride out in T100. . . lots of fun sections to link in there. Im coming off an injury but I'll be golden by the week that your here. The ride is chunky xc/am and then you can link in a few gnar sections, and can be made as short or as long as you like. PM me if your interested in this, also where will you be staying. There are tons of other great rides out here, ...

Vegas, or pick up a Matador on closeout. With a real shock on it, it should ride identical to the Vegas.

What a great ride that was!! I can't say enough about the group that came out, and the vibe we had. We started with at least 39 riders, and stayed together throughout. Plenty of rally stops, and encouragement all along for everyone. No real carnage or mechanicals, other than a couple flats, and a sideways-topple into a cholla heading down the rockiest part of the Old Jeep Road. There were *LOTS* of hikers out, including one large, guided...
