I bet you see a TON of talented young Spanish, Italian and such kids!! VERY cool idea....get the YOUNG talent out to showcase, get them racing "during the big show" ...

It would be really funny if it ended up being the 2-stroke 250s.... I would love to see that slap Honda in the face....

how would that slap honda? the HIPPIES across the street at REI by my shop are the reason 250GP is going away! i am sure the manf would still do 2 strokes if they could. I think it will be a SPEC class 100% so to keep cost VERY low (relative to wss and wsbk) and get grids of 20-40 riders. Should be some tough battling! If you have ever watch EuroCup 1000Super Stock (basically 1 step below...

Isn't this the same concept as what Redbull was doing for the last couple of years with the kids? The only thing that sucked with the Redbull competition was all the bikes were painted the same so you really didn't know who was who unless you knew their helmet color or could see their numbers.
