Take the glass of first, the they just pull off and then the cover is just clipped on so a bit of pulling required, be patient as they are a pain.

any 1 know how to take the top cover off of mk3 wing mirrors, im wanting to spray them.cheers

Don't need to take the glass out, but as said jus be patient. The drivers side is a real pita!

be careful i bought one from germany for th drivers side and had screw behinde the glass may be worth checking first.

You don't need to but it may help if you need to prise the clips a little bit.
