Thread: windshield washer fluid in radiator. help

so my wife put windshield washer fluid in the coolant reserve. is this a big deal? im planning on changing out the fluid. should i even bother?

Change it out, the washer fluid doesnt have the ethylene glycol in it that coolant has. Also, put a piece of tape on the hood so your wife can't get in it.

Flush the cooling system. The detergent in washer fluid is probably breaking down the eg in the coolant.
