Thread: will 285/75's fit on stock ride height?

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by telliott
looking into the nitto terra graplers. have 265's now, wanted to go a little taller but want to make sure they will fit before i order them. sits at stock level now. Actually the front might sit a hair lower than stock because of the heavy front bumper i have on it.

285's should be fine. I run 315's with no lift but they rub on the controll arms on sharp turns. I will go to 285's also when these wear out.

I used to have 285's on my truck. There was plenty of room for tire chains but I like the 265's better.

No problem with the 285's on the ground on my '01. Had a problem putting one in the spare rack - - - had to put 2 - 18" 2 x 4's between the frame and the spare tire, and it was real close to the rear end.
