Twenty-Five Years after the Reagan Landslide
By Bruce Walker
On Election Day, 1984 -- twenty five years ago -- many thought that the ideological battle of America was won. The independants are who determine elections...simple as that.
The independant voters in this country now outnumber the right and left individually.
At least thats what was reported last week ..it surprised me somewhat...
So the winner will have to have broad ranging appeal. And after a particularly bad 8 years...all the candidate has to do..is represent "change".

I hear this alot but I never see anyone reporting it back it up with any facts to support it.

I don't remember where I saw it either, but I read an article that said that the number of independents out numbers republicans and democrats individually. It will come down to their vote for some time when deciding the presidential election and possibly state/local elections. Independents led to Obama winning Virginia and led to McDonnell winning Virginia. Who attracts them most in a given ...

Well I agree with you there. I just think a fast descent will provide a better shot of that happening than a slow one. And I don't want to be old or dead when it happens.
The BO administration is working as hard as it can to expand the number of government dependents, in order to solidify leftist rule of the USA. It is working. The coming health care reform will be legislation that pushes us past the point of no return.
