Thread: what type of Mobil 1 for E320CDI

Hello. I am considering buy a 2005 E320 CDI and am wondering what type of Mobil 1 (weight) would work here. I live in Miami, FL. I usually buy it for my mechanic and have 3 cases of whatever I use for my Lexus. Thanks!

In 2005, the mercedes maintenance system (MMS) for determining your range requests what oil is used (on the dashboard interface). About this fleece filter I've been to he dealers and asked them for fleece filter for our 2005 E320 CDI they and told me there is no such thing. Anyone got a part # or more info; must be a breakdown in communication somewhere Thanks

The diesel applications use a 100% synthetic fiber not paper or "Cellulose". Diesel oils have very different characteristics that will lead to embrittlement of the filter media over the course of long drain intervals and possible failure of the filter media in the form of rupture.
