ok someone brought up a good point. non jws should ask real jws what really happens in a dfing or disassociation. they get warped retarded veiws from anti jws or jw haters so let this be a way for sincere non jws to get the real story on what happens.
What really happens and what is supposed to happen, isn't always the same thing, though. Unfortunately. Until someone has gone through it and then come back and got reinstated, they really do not know what happens. Sadly, sometimes people will be reinstated and work really hard and never really be forgiven by their congregation. I've seen that alot. It's truly regrettable. There are always ...
I'm not trying to bash anything or anyone. Simply that even JW's might not know what happens if it hasn't happened to them. It's a situation that most try to avoid. Until you've been in a judicial committee, you are niave about how it's conducted. It might be more accurate for someone that was dfed and reinstated to answer the question. They will have first hand experience.
This is true, and yes, I do know that. I was not saying it was only JW's. Just that it does happen that way. The question was about JW's and disfellowshipping though, right? So, it really doesn't signify what others do. Only what they do, in regards to this question. You do understand that, right?
Topsy Crett wrote: Enlightned that sounds like typical human behavior to me. You see this in all groups of people not just JW. You do know that right? Hi Topsy. Just clarify what you mean by "typical human behavior" for me , if you could. Do you mean it in the sense that whether it's a JW who has just been reinstated, or a convict that has just been paroled, or even an unfaithful ...
I have just been reading about the history of the early church. Church always meant people not buildings. in fact it was Constantine and his mother helena who used to build pagan temples, and when they converted to christianity , they converted the pagan temples to churches. The moment church stopped becoming people, and became a building, it actually gave power of the clergy over the people. ...

Susie B wrote: <quoted text> Amen LL! The ONLY non nomadic or foundational tabernacle or house of God that Jehovah put His name on was Solomons Temple. Even at that HE did NOT command it to be built but David asked God if he could build it for HIM but God told David no! It was to be Solomon who would build the house of Jehovah. (1 Kings 5:5) "And here I am thinking of building a house to ...
no buildings are not necessary, but no one said they were, its the people that make up the congregation, and if they all want to meet in a building so what. They all meet at the temple and Jesus went to the temple to worship as did his family. When the 1st century Christian congregations were starting of people meet in homes, and it was all getting started in small groups, Jesus address to the ...

Not that the sin or crime of any individual is all that noteworthy, but the coverup is much worse. And the way you describe it, the Greenlees common knowledge to ALL in the bethel family. Just make a simple call to headquarters to get confirmation right?...

Would you believe your contact? Why or why not? What if your contact was a Governing Body...

AlanF Find the boy and his parents and get their testimony. Right now you have nothing to take to the press. Not even the most extreme tabloids. Question: 1. Why would they reject entrance into bethel a person that has so much leverage? So word won't get out about what...
