Thread: what happens to your higher self when you die

Started 1 month, 1 week ago by sups
i was just wondering what happens to you higher self when you die? does it merge with the soul and then the journey continues in oneness and then with every incarnation a part is left up there as a higher self? or does it merge with the soul as soon as the physical body is no longer available.? Is the higher self present to welcome one when he/she crosses over? thanks for your answers

I believe the higher self and our recently deceased self come into convergence after we've gone through our life review and dropped our earthly identity. Those who are in limbo are not merged with their higher self (more's the pity).

I don't think you can reincarnate until you've sloughed off the old identity, processed it, merged with your higher self again, and made plans to pick parents and life circumstances.

Good question. One that the Great Thinkers of the Ages have pondered over for centuries. I doubt anyone REALLY knows the answer and I suspect it's one of lifes mysteries that can only be solved once when we 'graduate' from this life.

How long do you think that process requires? Do you believe that the time varies with different people?

The time does vary, though in the grand scheme of things there is no time. I unfortunately don't do well explaining things of this nature.
