Thread: what are some really cool/fun iphone apps?

my all time fav. iphone/itouch app is apple remote. Such a great tool if you have good computer speakers and wireless setup. Blows every docking station out of the water and it's FREEEEE!

my personal favorite is the police scanner ap. you can listen to live police scanners all around the country!!

try "augmented reality" by LAYAR.... BEST app on any phone yet

TUAW is a good app. its a weblog and usually has any bugs, problems etc with new software upgrades. it also often has reviews of the highest rated apps and a whole lot of other stuff. kinda like a consumer reports magazine in your phone.... but with reviews that actually mean something.

Best app I EVER had for my iphone was "change back to the blackberry" app, which let the in built "features" remind you every day of the mistake of changing from a blackberry to an iphone.
