so i picked up a set of cleveland 588 dsg gunmetal's.. i tried em out for quite a while at GT and they seemed to work well for me.. much different kinda feeling than im used to. but i got a three wedge set for a really good price.
can anyone tell me what the difference between the chrome and gunmetal finishes are? purly cosmetic purposes?

hey guys, ive been struggling with this one for quite a while.. i had bought a couple new fybrids to replace my 4 and 5 irons but i think im going to return them in favor of starting to build a wedge set.. but im a bit lost as to what i should be looking for as for lofts. my current iron set are wilson di7's which are 4i-gw but with the weird lofting they use they play closer to a set of 3i-pw.. ...

Better players tend to prefer the non-chrome finishes, as it reflects less in the sun.
Other than that I'm not sure if one wearsusts quicker than the other....

It also might have to do with a softer feeling when hitting shots...not 100% sure though.
